About

Digital waivers, done properly.

Waiver Studio exists because the category settled for clunky. Signing should feel effortless on any phone, records should surface in seconds years later, and the pricing page should never need a decoder ring.

Waiver Studio was founded by Rick Taylor and Gary Hull. After watching adventure and fitness businesses wrestle with clipboards, faded filing boxes, and waiver software that had grown into bloated booking suites, we set out to build the focused alternative: a premium signing experience for guests, a live roster for staff, and records a business can actually rely on—priced so it doesn’t sting as you grow.

Gary brings over 25 years of engineering in telecommunications—nearly a decade at BlackBerry, four years leading device technology at Rogers Communications, and senior engineering roles at Technetix and Telular—building systems where reliability isn’t optional. He holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Hartford. He’s also a skydiver and instructor, so he’s stood at the front of the exact lines this product is built to shorten.

The principles we run on.

One job, done properly

We don't bolt on booking engines, CRMs, or payment processing. Waiver Studio does the waiver workflow—creation, signing, groups, records—exceptionally well, and stays out of the rest of your stack's way.

Honest claims only

No invented testimonials, no inflated customer counts, no logos of companies that aren't customers. Integrations are labeled as planned until they're live and tested. If you catch us breaking this rule, tell us and we'll fix it publicly.

Honest legal language

We never claim a waiver is 'legally binding' or 'ironclad'—no software can promise that. What we promise is dependable evidence: the exact text signed, by whom, and when, retrievable in seconds.

Fair exit terms

Self-service cancellation, full export, 90 days of free read-only access, and permanent ownership of every PDF you download. A product should keep your business by being good, not by holding your records hostage.

We’re building this with our first hundred businesses.

Waiver Studio is early, and we treat that as a feature: our founding businesses get Starter for $10/month for their first 12 months, direct access to the people building the product, and a real vote on what ships next—the integrations page is literally prioritized by what design partners ask for. What you won’t find here yet are testimonials, and that’s deliberate: we’d rather have none than invent them. When they appear, they’ll be real.

Want to be one of them? Write to us at hello@waiver.studio—a founder reads every message.

Judge us by the product.

The sample waiver takes about a minute on your own phone. That’s the fairest test we can offer.
